We are in over our head when we are concerned about winning the approval of a group or individual. When we remember that our true calling is to share God's love with the world, we feel loved by all. That is when our dreams come together in better-than-expected ways. Funniest Thing! fan and repeat guest Sandy Page drops in to read and discuss today's Daily Word®, "Pray for Others." "I don't need to moan, I'm in a league of my own."
Take your Inner Being everywhere you go. If you take your Inner Being to the party, it's going to be a good party! If you take your Inner Being, the food that you eat will be received perfectly by the cells of your body. Every word that comes out of your mouth will be beneficial to everyone who hears them with their ears—or with their vibration. Don't go anywhere without your Inner Being. That's what "Allowing" is. Always having your Inner Being present. And then, anything else that happens is always orchestrated perfectly ... –Abraham
Keep the inspiration level in your mind high. It needs to be a constant flow through your consciousness. It is the kind of refreshment that the mind needs. It prevents you from doing what I call drab thinking. Drab thinking is unproductive thinking, and you cannot afford it at this particular time when the full action of your consciousness needs to be one of healthy expectation. –Raymond Charles Barker, The Power of Decision
If all of you, or if any of you, could reach a point of acknowledging that your work is to find harmony with you, period, and that what anybody else thinks about it, has nothing to do with your experience - you would all have a much happier experience, and you would be of much more value to all.
As you stop trying to get others to agree with you about everything, and just be, and seek harmony with self, and then let them find their harmony with you as you look for your harmony with them - then you are in a very good place. –Abraham
At any moment, we can choose which vision we will employ and which world we will live in. Even if we have chosen dark or painful thoughts, we can shift our vision and immediately transform our experience. The world we see reflects the thoughts with which we build it. –Alan Cohen, A Deep Breath of Life, Oct 13th
This law of adjustment is the universal law of Love, which bestows its blessings on all alike. It does not take from one and give to another. It does not withhold itself under any circumstances, but is ready, and waiting to operate as soon as the invitation is given and human will is set aside.
When we reach the point where we can in confidence and in trust leave everything to the settlement of God's law of adjustment, it will immediately relieve us of all sense of personal responsibility, remove anxiety and fear, and bring peace, comfort, and the assurance of God's protecting care.
The most satisfying and comforting sense of peace and joy always follows the willingness on our part to allow God to control every situation for us through His law of adjustment. –Adam H. Dickey, God's Law of Adjustment

Pray for Others
IN JOY-FILLED PRAYER, I AFFIRM WHOLENESS AND ABUNDANCE FOR ALL.
I am grateful when friends ask me to pray with them. Joining them in prayer is a privilege and a joy. I approach each prayer request with respect and thoughtfulness. Centering my mind and heart in Spirit, I see the divine attributes inherent within the person and the situation. My focus on Good turns every prayer into an expression of gratitude.
Where there appears to be a need for healing, I affirm the wholeness already there. Where there appears to be lack, I affirm abundance. Where there appears to be confusion or stumbling, I give thanks for wisdom, guidance, and understanding.
I am grateful for every opportunity to be a joyful, prayerful presence in the world.
To this end we always pray for you, asking that our God will ... fulfill by his power every good resolve and work of faith.–2 Thessalonians 1:11

Dear Darrell and Ed:
Of course I want to start out by saying I love the show and it inspires me each week in so many ways. The reason I’m writing is to share about the added benefits I get from listening to the show.
I used to sit at my computer and listen each week but then it occurred to me, I can listen on my phone and carry Darrell and Ed around the house with me while I clean. I now clean my house while listening to the show. The benefits are numerous: My house gets cleaned, I actually enjoy cleaning it and, most important, my attitude is so much better. Instead of dreading the weekly sweeping, mopping, dusting, and changing of the sheets, I am inspired and have come up with a mantra while doing so. “With Darrell and Ed, I make my bed.”
Thanks for always inspiring me. It changes my thinking and I get to see the better side of things.
All my love, Cathie Quinn

Hello Darrell and Ed,
I am just about ready to embark on my one year goal of training for the Dublin Marathon in Ireland. It is a Spiritual quest for sure. It has been years that my Spirit has been whispering....Go to Ireland!!
One of my favorite ways to connect with God and my Angels daily is through my running. I have done it for years and I count it as one of my most valued blessings.
I would Love to bring one of your books "What if Godzilla wanted a Hug" with me, you could sign it.....to a Proud Dublin Marathon Finisher?? At the finish line I will choose a person to give your book to!!! That would add so much Magic to this entire experience.
I will put a check in the mail to you today if this works for you. If you can mail the book as soon as you can, I will be flying out next Friday the 23rd and running on Mo day the 26th!!!
PS. I would be willing to hand out more then one book if you would like to spread "Your Joy" High and Wide!!!
Blessings of Love to you both!!!
Rachel
And that same day a 'funniest thing!' occurred . . .
Rachel,
Thank you so much for sharing this with us, you're an inspiration.
You're request has turned out to be an incredible funniest thing. Wednesday after the show I had just found out via a Facebook post by a childhood friend that his mom had died. Her name was Mrs. Lancaster, Irish-American from NJ. Growing up I was pretty much on my own as you know from the stories I've shared in What If Godzilla Just Wanted a Hug? During that time Mrs. Lancaster was always kind to me and she remained supportive of me, even attending my first solo art exhibition in NYC in 1996. During those later years she became an avid runner like yourself. She loved to travel and run marathons most of the time joined by her daughter, Bernadette. So I thought this amazing that you of all people requesting to randomly gift "a proud Dublin marathon finisher" with a copy of my book and suggest I do as well. I was on-board to do so when I read your email, then when I learned of Mrs. Lancaster's passing I was blown away, how appropriate. This is truly divinely orchestrated.
So in loving memory of Mrs. Lancaster, a wonderful Irish-American, I've enclosed two copies in addition to your copy of What If Godzilla Just Wanted a Hug? for you to hand out to the proud Dublin Marathon finishers that you're inspired to give them to. Mrs. Lancaster was running into her 70's.
Much love,
Darrell (and Ed too)

Joke of the Day
On their recent visit to Unity Village, Darrell and Ed were struggling to open a combination lock on the snack cabinet. They had been told the combination, but couldn't quite remember it. Finally they went to Jeff Comfort’s dorm room and asked for help. Jeff Comfort turned off the mud wrestling match he was watching and came into the room and began to turn the dial.
After the first two numbers he paused and stared blankly for a moment. Finally he looked serenely heavenward and his lips moved silently. Then he looked back at the lock, and quickly turned to the final number, and opened the lock.
Darrell and Ed were amazed. "We’re in awe at your faith, pastor," they said.
"It's really nothing," Comfort answered. "The number is on a piece of tape on the ceiling."
