What You Expect Is What You Get

God sets no limit to the amount of joy, happiness, and freedom you may experience. However, what you receive will always be in direct proportion to what you expect. Today's guest is Bennett Tanton, a veteran who has served in both the United States Army and Marines, he's also a founder of Warrior Hall, and a member of the team at Cigars and Sea Stories podcast.  His mission during this episode is to read and discuss today's Daily Word®, "Prosperity."  Click here to download/listen.
The 3 Breaths
"My Heart Sings, When I Expect  Good Things."
There has to be an expectancy of approaching good for mine to be healthy... It is obvious that there are no final problems. There is always a solution to any situation. This is not only a platitude; it is the truth. Every remedial science and art is premised on this truth. There is always a way out... Mental expectancy is the key to mental health or mental depression.

Spiritual thinking is never now thinking. Finished ideas are not creative. Unfinished business is life... It is mind creating the new in the improved. All evolution is evidence of the progressive Mind thinking in new terms to bring forth improvement. This process is in you; in fact, it is what you are.   –From The Power of Decision by Raymond Charles Barker
•  The Dictionary Definition of 'expect' is: to believe, to imagine, to anticipate.

•  Prayer is the contemplation of the facts of life from the highest point of view. It is the soliloquy of a beholding and jubilant soul. It is the spirit of God pronouncing his works good. –Ralph Waldo Emerson

•  Prayer is the general name for that attitude of open in earnest expectancy.  –Varieties of Religious Experience by William James

•  "It shall be done to you as you believe (expect) it to be."  –Jesus

•
"You don't get what you want in life, you get what you expect."  –Eric Butterworth
Begin now to feel the presence of God in all your transactions and then all your problems. Your new idea of life teaches you that the only way you can drive a negative thought from your mind is to supplant it with a positive, constructive thought.  This is the key to health, wealth, and prosperity. The practice of the simple truths will give you faith, hope, and confidence.   Go out on the limb with God - go out all the way.  Have implicit trust.  Have faith in God's eternal, unfailing supply of health, wealth, and all things.  This faith will magnify, grow, and expand in a wonderful way...  Your state of mind is your wealth; it is the coin of the spiritual realm.  –Joseph Murphy, Peace Within Yourself, pg. 215

It is only as you live affirmatively that you can  be happy.  Knowing that there is but one Spirit in which you live, move, and have your being, you are to feel Spirit not only in your consciousness but in your affairs.  You are united with all.  You are one with the eternal Light Itself.  The Presence of Spirit within you  blesses everyone you meet, tends to heal everything you touch, brings gladness into the life of everyone you contact.  Therefore, you are a blessing to yourself, to humankind, and to the day in which you live.  –Ernest Holmes, 365 Science of Mind, August 26th

10 Tools For Getting Into a State of Positive Expectation:
1.  Seek joy - first and foremost.
2.  Seek reasons to laugh.
3.  Seek reasons to offer words of praise- to self and others
4.  Seek beauty in nature, beasts, and other humans.
5.  Seek reasons to love.  In every segment of everyday - look for something that brings forth within you a feeling of love.
6.  Seek that which uplifts you.
7.  Seek opportunities to offer that which uplifts another.
8.  Seek a feeling of well-being.
9.  Know that your value can only be measured in terms of joy.
10.  Acknowledge your absolute freedom to do any of these things or not do any of these things -for it is, without exception, your choice in every moment of every day.

Prosperity
Divine ideas prosper and bless me.
In the spiritual realm, abundance is an infinite ocean. Prosperity flows into my life according to how much of it I am ready to accept in my consciousness. I can approach this ocean of absolute potential with a thimble, a bucket, or a pipeline.
All the wealth of God is waiting within me for my willingness to experience it. I completely open myself to divine ideas of abundance that urge me forward and give me a sense of purpose. I am inspired to accomplish great things!
I am filled with new and vibrant energy. I courageously act on divine guidance and experience positive, uplifting, and prosperous results. I accept and welcome an infinite ocean of abundance. I am grateful for divine ideas that prosper and bless my life!

In all that they do, they prosper.—Psalm 1:3

Hello, Gentlemen!

I am a listener in upstate NY and love your show. In one of your previous podcasts you mentioned you traveled near where I live to play with a "Donut" band... I currently live in Colonie, NY and grew up in Altamont, NY just outside of Duanesburg. What "Unity" group did you come to here? I'm just getting more familiar with Unity and would love to meet local people who get together with others with a same vision.

I love your show and energy. You guys help me get into a positive mindset when I am unable to do it on my own!

Thank you so much!!

Stephanie

Hi Ed & Darrell,

I have this amazing story to share. Last wed. I saw this plate. Mary is my mother -in-law name so I thought it would be fun to get a picture of it. When I approached the older couple in their car to ask if they wouldn't mind that I take a picture, I noticed they has a little statue of Mother Mary on their dash board. I mentioned to them how much I love Mother Mary and how I pray to her every night. She comforts me when I'm anxious and helps me sleep when I'm wrestles. They were the sweetest people. The gentleman said yes, she will wrap her arms around you and hold you tight.

The older woman proceeded to show me two pendants she had on a necklace one was made of medal the other was gold. She said the gold one was given to her by a friend. When she received it was covered with a blue casing. She would hold it in her hand when she prayed the rosary and the the blue casing eventually fell off and it was the same color as the medal one she has now only that in time it turned to Gold. It turned to Gold over time when she held it in her hand and prayed the rosary.....after that transformation her friend told her she should get a license plate that says "LUVMARY".....here it is!!!!

Joke of the Day
A married couple, parents to an 8-year-old son, figured that the only way to pull off a Sunday afternoon "quickie " with their 8-year-old son in the apartment was to send him out onto the balcony with a Popsicle and tell him to report on all the neighborhood activities...

"There's a car being towed from the parking lot," he shouted.

He began his commentary as his parents put their plan into operation:

"An ambulance just drove by!"

"Looks like the Anderson's have company," he called out.

"Matt's riding a new bike!"

"Looks like the Sanders are moving!"

"Jason is on his skate board!"

After a few moments he announced... "The Coopers are having sex!"

Startled, his mother and dad shot up in bed. Dad cautiously called out..."How do you know they're having sex?"

"Jimmy Cooper is standing on his balcony with a Popsicle."

The greatest freedom comes from the knowledge that God is on our side, constantly making arrangements on our behalf. Trusting God makes it easy to relax and release our concerns. Michael Penney, United States Marine Corps combat veteran and a creator of the Cigars and Sea Stories podcast, drops in to read and discuss today's Daily Word®, "Let Go, Let God."

"Let it go, and let it rip!"

Hello (Your Name Here)

Magic flows all around you.  It's drawn to you.

You are a miraculous being, just as God/Universe/Nature intended.

Notice your magic. Notice how when you let your light shine, the world is a brighter place.

Keep being you. You're doing a great job.

It doesn't have to be a fancy container. The God box that works best is the one you use.
In this episode Darrell and Ed shared how effective a "God Box" can be in the practice of turning things over to God.  In case you were wondering what a God Box is and how to use it, Darrell describes it simply, along with actual photos of several great examples, in this previous blog post.  Click here.
Relax, Because It's All Good

God is omnipresent, which means that the Divine is everywhere and within each person and thing. All that you see is God. It's impossible for anything or anyone to be apart from heaven, no matter how it might appear.
Cling to this knowledge today. In any situation where you feel fear or stress, tell yourself, "This is God". This reminder relaxes away the worry that something could be out of order. You'll recall that you're safely guided in all circumstances and need only listen to and follow the guidance with faith.
Today, remember that the Divine is within you and every person- it's all around you. As you focus on the fact that it's all the Creator, you experience heavens enveloping love. Apparent problems begin to vanish through undreamed-of solutions.
Relax right now, because it's all God.

Thought for Today:
I reminded myself that everything and everyone is God in truth. I see the Divine within myself and all others today, relaxing with the certain knowledge that heaven is in charge. There's nothing to fear.
–Doreen Virtue, Daily Guidance From Your Angels, Pg. 333
Jesus tells us that the child-like mind is more receptive to Truth then the over-intellectual who demand too rational an explanation of those truths which must be excepted on faith alone.  What man can explain why he lives? The self-evident fact of living is the only explanation possible or necessary.
–Ernest Holmes, Science of Mind, Pg. 443
No matter what the issue is, don't try to justify why you don't feel good. And don't try to justify why you should feel differently. Don't try to blame whatever it is you think the reason is that's keeping you from feeling good. All of that is wasted effort. Just try to feel better right now.

Let Go, Let God
I let go of expectations and trust God.
A team succeeds when all players do the best they can in the roles they have accepted. Teams falter when members lose their focus and worry about the performance of others. So it is in life.
My role on the team of humankind is to align with the divine spark within and shine my light into the world. I own my power and my life. I release any temptations to manage those around me or micromanage the world. I let go of how I think things should be and do my best in every circumstance.
Spirit is expressing in and through each person and situation. Looking past appearances, I behold the Christ in everyone I see. I respond to all with love. I let go of expectations and trust God. All is well.

Trust in the Lord, and do good; so you will live in the land, and enjoy security.—Psalm 37:3

I was wondering if you guys practice the faces you make before the shows? You both are quite entertaining.

Joke of the Day
A young woman brings home her fiance to meet her parents. After dinner, her mother tells her father to find out about the young man. The father invites the fiance to his study for a drink.

"So what are your plans?" the father asks the young man.

"I am a Bible scholar." he replies.

"A Bible scholar? Hmmm," the father says. "Admirable, but what will you do to provide a nice house for my daughter to live in, as she's accustomed to?"

"I will study," the young man replies, "and God will provide for us." "And how will you buy her a beautiful engagement ring, such as she deserves?" asks the father.

"I will concentrate on my studies," the young man replies, "God will provide for us."

"And children?" asks the father. "How will you support children?" "Don't worry, sir, God will provide," replies the fiance. The conversation proceeds like this, and each time the father questions him, the young idealist insists that God will provide.

Later, the mother asks, "How did it go, honey?"

The father answers, "The bad news is, he has no job and no prospects, but the good news is he thinks I'm God."

When it comes to evaluating ourselves, most of us are poor appraisers. God sees us as one-of-a-kind masterpieces with unlimited potential for good. Seeing ourselves as anything less feels bad because it's not true. Funniest Thing! fan Christina Robohm drops in to read and discuss today's Daily Word®, "Pray for Others." The 3 Breaths
"We're the pick of the litter, because God's the highest bidder."
For the first time in Funniest Thing! history Darrell and Ed forgot to share The 3 Breaths during the show.  So here is a specially added YouTube presentation of these three breaths for your enjoyment.
Self approval and self acceptance in the now are the main keys to positive changes in every area of our lives.  Loving the self, to me, begins with never ever criticizing ourselves for anything. Criticism locks us into the very pattern we are trying to change. Understanding and being gentle with ourselves helps us to move out of it. Remember, you have been criticizing yourself for years, and it hasn't worked. Try approving of yourself and see what happens. –Louise Hay, You Can Heal Your Life, Pg 15

We recommend you say this affirmation to yourself in the mirror at least once a day:

Your name, you are wonderful and I love you.

This is one of the best days of your life.

Everything is working out for your highest good.

Whatever you need to know is revealed to you.

Whatever you need comes to you.

All is well.

–From Louise Hay, You Can Heal Your Life, Pg 93

The Divine cannot lack for anything, and we should not lack for anything that makes life worth living while here on earth.
Everything that we do should be a success and we should be led to do those things which are constructive and worthwhile. Nothing is great and nothing is small to the Divine, so we should never wonder if what we are going to do will be hard or easy. God knows no hard and no easy.
I have an inner understanding of my place in the universe. I know that it is unique. The Divine has not incarnated in anyone else and just the same individual way that It has in me. I am unique and forever individualized.  Therefore, I do not need to imitate anyone or to long for the good that belongs to another. All good is now mine and is now manifest in my experience.  I do not compete with anyone, for I am and remain forever myself. This self is united with all selves, but is always an individual and a unique self.  –Ernest Holmes, Science of Mind, pg. 262-263

Pray for Others
I bless others with my prayers.
We all experience ups and downs. Feelings waver between elation and sorrow, hope and despair. Just as emotions do not last forever, the situations that cause them ultimately change as well.
When I witness a loved one or a stranger experiencing a difficult situation, I hold them in prayer. I acknowledge their feelings with love and empathy. I look past their temporary circumstances to the unchanging Truth of who they are: God expressing as life. I envision them as healthy, prosperous, and filled with peace.
Regardless of circumstances, I surround others with light and love. Together we may laugh and we may cry. Through it all, we give thanks for God expressing in and as our lives.

I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Do not fear, I will help you.”—Isaiah 41:13
That's right. Because I, your God, have a firm grip on you and I'm not letting go. I'm telling you, 'Don't panic. I'm right here to help you.'  "Do you feel like a lowly worm, Jacob? Don't be afraid. Feel like a fragile insect, Israel? I'll help you. I, God, want to reassure you."   –Isaiah 41:13,  from 'The Message' Bible translation

Patrick goes into the confessional box after a long lapse from going to church.  Inside he finds a fully equipped bar, Guinness on tap and a row of decanters with fine Irish whiskey. On the wall is a dazzling array of cigars.  Then the priest comes in.

"Father, forgive me, for it's been a long time since I've been to confession, but I must admit that the confessional box is much more inviting than it used to be.”

The priest replies: "Get out, you moron, you're on my side."

The 3 Breaths
"When I hand out praises, my credit score raises."

Webster's defines "salvation" as "liberation from clinging to the phenomenal world of appearance and final union with ultimate reality."
The Alpha and Omega of life is Trust. Trust in the world and the God who made it. Never doubt. Doubt is unscientific. It fails to get results. The dawn of a better day awaits those who trust. –My Soul and I, Carrie Moss Hawley
Often fear stands between man and his perfect self-expression. Stage-fright has hampered many a genius. This may be overcome by the spoken word, or treatment. The individual then loses all self-consciousness, and feels simply that he is a channel for Infinite Intelligence to express itself through.
He is under direct inspiration, fearless, and confident; for he feels that it is the "Father Within" him who does the work.  –The Game of Life, Florence Scovel Shinn
Do not covet your ideas. Give away everything you know, and more will come back to you.  You will remember from school other students preventing you from seeing their answers by placing their arm around their exercise book or exam paper.  It is the same at work, people are secretive with ideas. 'Don't tell them that, they'll take the credit for it.'
The problem with hoarding is you end up living off your reserves. Eventually you'll become stale.

If you give away everything you have, you're left with nothing. This forces you to look, to be aware, to replenish.
Somehow the more you give away the more comes back to you. Ideas are open knowledge. Don't claim ownership. They're not your ideas anyway, there's someone else's. They are out there floating by on the ether. You just have to put yourself in a frame of mind to pick them up.  –It's Not How Good You Are, It's How Good You Want To Be, Paul Arden
During this episode Darrell shared how giving away the secret to his unique style of working wet with pastels brought national recognition with a feature in American Artist Magazine.  And as promised here's the picture.

Don't covet your ideas. Giving freely brings incredible rewards.
Ed read this letter he received from Universal Life Church because it's a great example of a letter to send and/or receive.

Hi Ed,

In case nobody has told you yet today, you are a fantastic person.
Whether you feel it or not, you get stronger, smarter and more amazing every day.
There's no point in fighting it Ed -- It's just part of being you.

Keep up the good work.

--Amy

PS. This is just a kind word from me to you, for no other reason than because everyone needs a kind word now and then.
Not only do we avoid the temptation to be dishonest by commission-taking something that doesn't belong to us-we also avoid dishonesty by omission.  If we receive high praise for a job well done, for example and no mention is made of an assistants invaluable participation, we speak up rather than passively except all the credit for ourselves.
Sometimes others find our action surprising, or even "stupid". But regardless of peer or societal pressures, we insist on remaining unwaveringly honest in all our affairs.
Today we realize that actions and thoughts motivated strictly by self-centeredness can bring us only misery.  Our recovery from egomania depends on thinking about and doing what we can for others, rather than constantly worrying about what they can do for us.
When we think of everyone as equal, and act accordingly, we feel best about ourselves.
–A New Day, Excerpts from August 3rd and 4th
Have you ever really tried having confidence in the Spirit? Have you ever experimented with your own mind to see if you could come to a place where you really believe there is good enough to go around?  Possibly we have been holding our bowl of acceptance and are chalice of life upside down so that even the fruit and the wine of the Spirit cannot be poured into it. Yet the windows of heaven must forever be open.
Today I open the window of my own soul so that the windows of heaven may pour into my experience a blessing greater than I am able to receive. Nor would I withhold this blessing from others, for as surely as it comes to me, just as shortly will it go forth multiplied and increased to heal and help, to bless and enrich and gladden others.  This is my day; this is my heaven; this is my life; this is my God. In him will I put my trust.  –Ernest Holmes, 365 Science Of Mind, Excerpt from July 30th

Comfort
I am secure in the comforting love of God.
Children have an inherent desire for comfort. Before they are able to speak, they cry out for touch, nourishment, and protection.
Although I am no longer a child, I sometimes still need comforting. I need to feel safe and loved, especially in difficult times—when I may feel lost, sad, or afraid. I yearn for the reassurance that I am not alone.
God gently reminds me to turn within, where comfort is always available. I release any sadness, fear, or loneliness. They have no place in my life. In the Silence, I feel God’s love deep within my heart. My inner child is comforted. I am safe and loved, strong and courageous. I stay in touch with Spirit and am at peace in good times and in tough times. I am secure in the comforting love of God.

Let the little children come to me.

From Chris Schawn, Scottsdale, AZ

So heard your show this morning as I was walking and laughed my butt off with the "Provolone mantra"…then I had 2 great ones myself I wanted to share:

If it tastes like your Mom's lasagna, then the hand of God is upon ya!!! That is for Ed's Italian heritage and here is what rang true for me: If it tastes like my green smoothie (i make the best!!), then Love is moving through me!!!!!

Just got off the phone with Christina Robohm and we are both praying so heavily about going on the cruise with Darrell and Ed and Larry Broughton.

Fantastic!!! I might even incorporate your Provolone mantra into my yoga classes for the breathing!!!!!!

Chris

Joke of the Day
A young man named Chuck bought a horse from a farmer for $250. The farmer agreed to deliver the horse the next day. The next day, the farmer drove up to Chucks house and said, "Sorry son, but I have some bad news, the horse died."

Chuck replied, "Well, then just give me my money back."

The farmer said, "Can't do that. I went and spent it already."

Chuck said, "Ok, then, just bring me the dead horse."

The farmer asked, "What ya gonna do with him?"

Chuck said, "I'm going to raffle him off."

The farmer said, "You can't raffle off a dead horse!"

Chuck said, "Sure I can, Watch me. I just won't tell anybody he's dead."

A month Later, the farmer met up with Chuck and asked, "What happened with that dead horse?"

Chuck said, "I raffled him off. I sold 500 tickets at five dollars apiece and made a profit of $2495."

The farmer said, "Didn't anyone complain?"

Chuck said, "Just the guy who won. So I gave him his five dollars back."

Drop the head game. Cast out the person in your head who goes on talking and talking, asking questions, judging everything, calculating everything. –Barbara Ann Kipfer, Self-Meditation
If we are to have an active faith- the faith of God instead of merely a faith in God- our thought must be centered in Universal Mind. We are convinced that under divine law all things are possible, if we only believe, and work in conformity with the principles of that Law.  Such a faith is not spring full-orbed into being, but grows by knowledge and experience.  No matter what the outside appearance, we must cling steadfastly to the knowledge that God is good, and God is all, underneath, above and round about. –Ernest Holmes, Science of Mind, Pg.162
It becomes very obvious that love is an understanding, respect for all life (all creation), an attempt to look for the good in all things and peoples, and attempt not to look back but to look ahead and at the present, and absence of condemnation, and absence of negative judgment, and absence of negative appraisal of our environment and our circumstances. One should know how one must learn to look at all things in a favorable light…  –Jack H. Holland, Man's Victorious Spirit
There is a mighty force in the world which scientist call electromagnetism. Everything in the universe is electromagnetic in nature, the laws of attraction and repulsion operate electromagnetically; when you assume a positive or negative attitude of mind, you get a positive or negative result; there's no such thing as an accident in life-everything happens in direct accordance with the laws of cause-and-effect! –Claude Bristol, TNT The Power Within You
Begin today to think the way God thinks. The Bible says, "The path of the righteous grows brighter and brighter and brighter." Think increased… Think big… Think expansive!  Start expecting the unexpected and look at life through your eyes of faith. When you do, God will show up and begin to work things out in your favor. Take a step toward victory in your life today. –Joel Osteen, 30 Thoughts For Victorious Living

Transformed
I am transformed in mind, body, and spirit.
I have faith in the power of God to transform my life. When I perceive lack, I tap into Spirit’s dynamic, healing energy. Every condition of my life changes for the better as I reconnect with my spiritual source.
I look into my heart to see what I can shift to better align with God. Perhaps I want to turn sadness into joy or sluggishness into action. Maybe I need to let go of the need to control a situation. I affirm: I trust God’s power to renew and change my life. I am transformed in mind, body, and spirit. Repeating this statement many times leads me to change the way I think. New and better conditions bring me peace, healing, and joy. I am grateful for the power of God!

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds.—Romans 12:2

The Funniest Thing! Mail Bag
From Jorge de Rojas, Miami, FL

Hi Guys, First off thank you for all the times you've lifted me from the doldrums, but today was special. I am healing in faith from some medical and physical challenges for the past several years after a serious accident. While listening to your episode: Get off The Mat! I was reviewing my emails, among them was one sent by a friend for a job opportunity that sounds like something which I can meet the challenge . With you in the background and your joyful jibber jabber! I decided to take the leap and put myself out there in with a positive and healthy Resume to send. While doing so, I was surprised at how much i have managed to accomplish even with my present health challenges. I saw the positive and put that forward in my Resume. I know that whatever may come will be what is best or something better for me.

Dear Darrell and Ed:

I’ve been housebound for the last few days recovering from surgery and was getting a bit stir crazy. I’ve been unable to get out and attend my spiritual program and, although I’ve been reading my spiritual literature and following my morning routine, I was feeling a bit “off”. It wasn’t until yesterday (Wednesday), while listening to the show, that it occurred to me I could listen to other episodes of the show for an extra added boost to my spirit. What a blessing. This morning I listened to the episode “Worry is Nothing to Worry About”. There was so much good stuff packed into that one hour and was exactly what I needed.

I don’t know about you but when I spend too much time with myself I start listening to the negative thoughts in my head. What a relief when I heard you talking about negative thoughts. When I heard you say “negative thoughts are just old beliefs coming up to the surface to be blessed on their way out” and “our thoughts create our reality”, I immediately said “Oh, thank God for that”. I have now adopted the attitude that with every negative thought I will follow it with a blessing and release it to God. I can now stop worrying about whether I will be completely healed in time to go back to work (OF COURSE I WILL) and whether I will be short on cash because of having taken the week off (OF COURSE I WON’T), I know that God takes care of me and always provides what I need. I actually already knew this but sometimes I forget so thanks for the reminder.

I love the fact that, between Unity.fm, the Darrell and Ed webpage, your Facebook page, iTunes, Stitcher and my very favorite Youtube, I can get all the Darrell and Ed I need whenever I need it.

I love you guys and shall always remain a fan for life.

Hi you guys, last week's show was awesome, and I got so much out of it! When Darrell was telling the story about his friend that's a server who didn't feel like going to work that day, I thought it was funny because I had that experience the day before and I actually thought about things you both had said in the past to help me get through my own weirdness. It's pretty rare for me NOT to want to go to work because I enjoy being there, but the other day I was in a foul mood and didn't want to be around people. I go anyway. So, the first customers that I get are an 80 year old couple who just got back from a road trip. The lady goes to the restroom and the man wants to tell me everything about his day. My first thought was, " I'm not in the mood for this, I just wanna go eat soup.". What came to me next was the idea of being "of service" by just standing there and listening to his stories, worries, and whatever else he wanted to get off his mind. As I listened, I felt my bad mood lifting  After about 10 or 15  minutes, I knew that he felt better sharing his concerns about his wife with me, and I also felt better for just listening. AND his stories about their previous Alaskan road trip were really interesting. The rest of my evening got better and better and some of my favorite people came in. Not only that, I got a text right before I was done working asking me if I wanted to go out on my friend's Harley for a beautiful night ride. Nice! So, what I thought was going to be a crappy night turned out so differently than I had expected just because I was willing to be giving enough to listen to someone. I'm so grateful that I have you guys  to remind me of these simple ideas that help so much!!! Love ya both!

Joke of the Day
After digging to a depth of 10 feet last year, New York scientists found traces of copper wire dating back 100 years and concluded that their ancestors already had a telephone network more than 100 years ago.

Not to be outdone by New Yorkers, in the weeks that followed, a California archaeologist dug to a depth of 20 feet, and shortly after, a story in the LA Times read: "California archaeologists, report finding of 200 year old copper wire, have concluded that their ancestors already had an advanced high-tech communications network a hundred years earlier than the New Yorkers."

One week later. a local newspaper in Missouri reported the following: "After digging as deep as 30 feet in his pasture near Unity Village, Jeff Comfort, a self-taught archaeologist, reported that he found absolutely nothing. Comfort has therefore concluded that 300 years ago, Unity Village had already gone wireless.”

OK, now you can see the real reason Darrell and Ed keep returning to eat at Victor Jr's... Brianne Junior!
