When we face a situation that causes us to become frustrated, overwhelmed, or worried, we can put our trust in God's law of adjustment. Surrendering the matter always allows for harmonious realignment. Funniest Thing! fan and neighbor Cathie Quinn stops by to read and discuss today's Daily Word®, "Integrity". The 3 Breaths
"Even if I bust it, God will adjust it."
"Even if I bust it, God will adjust it."
The most satisfying and comforting sense of peace and joy always follows the willingness on our part to allow God to control every situation for us through His law of adjustment. When we understand that infinite Mind is the Ruler of the universe, that every idea of God is forever in its proper place, that no condition or circumstance can arise whereby a mistake can find lodgment in God's plan, then we have the complete assurance that God is capable of adjusting everything as it should be. The fact is that all things are already in their rightful place; that no interference or lack of adjustment can really occur. It is only to the unenlightened human sense that there can be any such thing as discord. God's universe is always in perfect adjustment, and all His ideas work together forever in perfect harmony.
When we are willing to give up our frightened and uncertain sense of things and let the divine Mind govern, then and then only shall we behold that "all things work together for good to them that love God."
–Adam H. Dickey, God's Law of Adjustment
The Bible tells us that God can heal us, that He can deliver us from our derelictions, that He lifts up the weak, that He leads and guides us. Buy just how much can God do? Well, God can do almost anything. That may sound strange to those who have been taught that with God all things are possible. But there are some things that God cannot do, and it is fortunate for us that this is true.
God is a God of love and rules by principle, and because this is so, He cannot change His nature. He cannot break divine law. He cannot bring disease, or suffering, or lack.
He is always the loving Father, ready to hear and answer prayer.
How much can God do? He can bring heaven here and now--not by breaking the law, which is impossible to God--but by fulfilling it.
Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law (Psalm 119:18)

When your knees are knocking together, and you do not know which way to turn--think of God and His goodness.
When prosperity seems out of the question--give thanks for God's abundance.
When you want peace of mind--dwell upon the Presence of God
When your health is under par--speak the healing Word
When you need inspiration--browse through the Bible
When the situation seems to need a miracle--remember that nothing is too difficult for God, and that He is performing miracles every day.
I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee (Joshua 1:5)
–Around The Year With Emmet Fox, 26 October
Try this experiment today. Select one particular thing in your life that is not going well and you wish to make right. Next consider the matter in the light of your knowledge of God and of prayers. Realize that this thing cannot remain inharmonious or negative once you know the Truth about it. Realize that you are now knowing the Truth and claim that the divine Power in you is now healing the condition completely and permanently.
Then give thanks. Remember that praise and thanksgiving are the most powerful prayers of all.
The next day, repeat your thanksgiving, until the answer comes.
In between prayers you must keep your thought right concerning the problem. This is vital. All-day-long guiding of your thought cannot fail to bring your demonstration.
My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord (Psalm 104:34)
–Around The Year With Emmet Fox, 27 October
When Jesus said: “Resist not,” He meant that non-recognition of evil is the only way to avoid it. This is true according to the law of cause and effect, for what we persist in recognizing, we persist in holding in place. That which we refuse to recognize, we neutralize, and it is no longer there so far as we are concerned.
So we erase any idea of failure. Now here is where it looks as if one were not telling the truth to himself, but he is declaring the truth about the Spirit that indwells him. THIS SPIRIT NEVER FAILS. Affirm this until it is a very part of your being. –Ernest Holmes, Science of Mind, Pg. 303
A changed experience can only happen to a changed individual... The world responds to you by corresponding to your thought... You have no need to implore the Deity. You do need to know yourself as a great spiritual potential for happiness. God’s work in you, as you, has been completely accomplished. It awaits you recognition and practice of Its ideas. –Raymond Charles Barker, The Power of Decision
“God does not hear your prayers, you do.” –Eric Butterworth
Prayers are not magic words, they are reminders to your own brain that all is well. Prosperity, health, abundance, and all manner of well being are our natural state of being.

Prayers are not magic words, they are reminders to your own brain that all is well. Prosperity, health, abundance, and all manner of well being are our natural state of being.
At times I may hesitate to make decisions. I may struggle with choices about relationships and work-life balance. Or I may worry if I am spending my money wisely. Staying in touch with Truth gives me confidence. Before I choose what to do, I listen to my inner guidance. I align my thoughts with what is upright, honest, and sincere. As I speak and act with integrity, I experience balance in my mind, body, and soul. Every aspect of my life aligns in peaceful harmony.
Integrity is part of my true identity. I exhibit ease and grace when asked to make a decision. My health improves, my self-esteem increases, and I live courageously.
Show yourself in all respects a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, gravity, and sound speech that cannot be censured.–Titus 2:7, 8

Joke of the Day
This joke was sent to our PO BOX via parcel post and handwritten on 3 x 5 cards for us from Karen and Wayne Bressner, Coral Springs, FL
"Dear Darrell and Ed,
Enclosed is a joke we thought you might like.
Keep up the great work.
We love you.
Sincerely, K
aren and Wayne Bressner, Coral Springs, Florida"
A minister was asked to dinner by one of his church members. He knew she was a bad housekeeper but agreed anyway. When he sat down to the table, he noticed that the dishes were the dirtiest that he had ever seen in his life.
“Were these dishes ever washed?”, he asked the hostess, running his fingers over the grit and grime.
“Yes”, she replied, “they’re as clean as soap and water could get them.”
He felt a bit uncomfortable but blessed the food anyway and started eating. It was really delicious and he said so, despite the dirty dishes. When dinner was over, the hostess took the dishes outside and yelled, “Here Soap! Here Water!”
